Well, after some time with the limits of a P&S i've decided it's best to move into the big world of dSLR's, namely the Nikon D50 + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED Lens. I really like my Kodak P&S, but it's specs can now be found in most phones and the lack of optical zoom is a big drawback, as well as a short battery life - while I was initially tempted to go for an upmarket P&S (Sony H2 and the new H5), the difference in quality to a dSLR for only £50-100 is amazing. I was also tempted by the Canon 350D dSLR, though I couldn't justify spending around another £100 on a quality difference I couldn't actually see. Any D50 or 350D users around

Well I've got 10 days off work, then it's actually back to a new job...kinda. I now work for Bank of America, as opposed to MBNA. Anyway, I wish you all a merry christmas and hope Santa brings you what you deserve. ;)
